Week 4 "Something New"
Something new this week was a lot of fun. I did experiment with different photography techniques. Nothing quite turned out as I had hoped still need some practice! I did attempt photographing food items and this once is my final submission.

Memories 365 is about capturing a photo each and every day of the year. They may not be technically perfect photo's and that is OK! It may be a project I am working on, a candid snapshot, a planned session, or whatever the day brings! To me this project is about finding the beauty in everyday and taking a moment to capture a special memory!
I have been participating in 52 Frames a weekly challenge since week 22 of 2017. This project has challenged me to step outside my comfort zone, to learn new things, and test my ability each and every week. My goal is to be a weekly warrior and not skip a week of submitting. Yes, it is difficult and some weeks I am way beyond my skill level but the challenge of learning something new or practicing something old has truly helped me understand the art of photography. I will continue to share my journey in this project!
My love for the art and the desire to capture special memories that my children can look back on someday with their children and grandchildren has inspired me to continue this daily journey. To look at something old in a new way or notice something new that I had never seen before, to understand and appreciate the little details of things, the tiny fingers holding the little toy, the wrinkles in the corners of the eyes that show when someone smiles, the pure sense of wonder when the child discovers a rock or a turtle even the simple fascination with an insect crawling around! These photo’s may include anything and everything that is part of our day 2 day life.
