Week 30

Week 30 "5 Elements: Earth, Fire, Water, Metal & Wood"

Metal and Earth 

We have been watching this excavator digging up earth, grinding against rocks, removing tree stumps and smoothing out the earth again for the past couple weeks. All in preparation for a barn to built for our horses so that we can finally bring them home! I was hoping to catch the work in action but with all the rain we have had this week it was too soggy for them to be working so here is my photo for this weeks theme:)

I was walking through the girls bedroom today and stopped...looking out the window I had a huge sense of excitement. It wont be long (hopefully) until the excavator is gone and the horses are there! One day at a time but any progress is exciting!!

Week 27 "Details"

My original idea was ice cream with sprinkles...fun bright colorful sprinkles! I ended up choosing this one because even though they are faint I just love his freckles....sometimes you just have to stop and look to notice DETAILS!
